Crawl Space - Moisture Problems

Eliminate crawl space mold, moisture, and related problems with the vapor barrier

Why Remove Moisture From a Crawl Space?
Dirty crawl spaces, vented crawl spaces, or unconditioned crawl spaces of any type under a home are a very bad idea – and crawl spaces in the NW suffer big temperature and relative humidity through the seasons. The earth has very high humidity in the soil. This humidity or water vapor easily moves into the crawlspace and upwards into the house environment.

How to Solve a Crawl Space Moisture Problem.
Once standing water is removed, the problem of moisture in the crawl space, typically from high levels of humidity, can be addressed. For houses with damp or wet crawl spaces, installing a vapor barrier is the first step, and in some cases the only step needed, to solve the problem. In most cases additional products and sealing is required.
